Herne Studios was established in 1999 as an independent music production company. Originally set-up to offer affordable recording services to musicians, the company developed over time to widen its focus to all aspects of music production.

Herne Studios offers several freelance producer/engineers who, as well as being available to work in commercial studios, have access to Herne Studios' private production suite, which provides overdubbing, editing and mixing facilities.
